We had a great experience staying at a hospedaje in Cabanaconde. The room was clean and new, with a comfortable bed and a hot shower. The staff was friendly and accommodating, allowing us to leave our bags while we hiked in the Colca Canyon. When we returned, they even let us take a shower for free. The breakfast provided was satisfactory, with bread, jam, cheese. The lady who runs the place spoke excellent English, which was very helpful.

The family-run hospedaje offers good-sized rooms, clean bathrooms, and a satisfying continental breakfast. The owners, who are small scale farmers themselves, arranged a memorable visit to a local farm for us. The location offers stunning views and the opportunity for agri-tourism experiences. Great value for money at $16 for a double room with breakfast.

We stayed at Arum Qurpawasi Hospedaje for our trip to the Colca Canyon. The hostel was clean, comfortable, and the staff were lovely. They allowed us to leave our bags when we went on our overnight hike in the canyon. The owner even let us shower free of charge after our challenging hike back up. The hostel is brand new and offers a range of room options. The landlady was very helpful and cooked delicious meals. It's a quiet place, perfect for a peaceful stay.
